Nice restaurant if you're looking for small bites. We opted for ordering multiple small plates and sharing. Food came out quickly and hot. We loved the spacious indoor seating plus service was helpful and friendly. We really enjoyed our dining experience. Bacon wrap dates-sweet, loved it so much we ordered it instead of dessert. Empanada- 1 per order... flavorful beef Crocquetas de jamon- delicious... Pan con tomate-tasted so fresh Shrimp ajillo-tasty, and the bread that came with it was so light and crispy We would definitely return if we were in the area.

This was an exceptional discovery. My family and I really enjoyed dining here; we were welcomed in and got a terrific table in the back room. The smoked salmon, octopus, and baguette were all outstanding. We loved the mushroom and truffle vegetarian paella. My wife has a bunch of food allergies and the restaurant did a terrific job accommodating everything. The dessert was out of this world, we had the churros and the ube basque cheesecake. I can’t wait to come back, the service was excellent and the whole experience was magical.

We live 200 meters from the restaurant and haven’t been there, I don’t know why. Went tonight and food was excellent, people were friendly and helpful, service fantastic. Highly recommended and will be back.

I very much enjoyed our dinner last night at El Cielo. We were able to walk in and be seated without any issue at around 730pm on a Wednesday. Specifically chose this spot because I didn’t want a large meal as we had a decent size and bit late lunch, so the tapas option was great. We ordered bacon wrapped dates, jamon croquettes, manchengo cheese, shrimp ajillo, and gallega style octopus. Everything was very good. I really like the jamon croquettes. The bacon on the blue cheese stuffed dates was nice and crisp. The manchengo cheese came with a house made sangria jam that paired beautifully with the cheese. The shrimp was good but I wanted a bit more flavor in the sauce, maybe more heat? Couldn’t really put my finger on it, but we still sopped up all that garlicky oil with the bread. The octopus was cooked really nicely and the potatoes that came with it were just perfect. I really wanted to try the ube cheesecake, but just didn’t have room, so maybe we will have to return for that. Staff was all super friendly and working hard. Our water was consistently full. Food came out at a good pace. Everybody saying thank you as we left the restaurant. Overall delicious and enjoyable meal. Definitely would return. If this place were on the other side of Kalakaua, I doubt we would have been able to walk in with ease.

Delicious food. The empanada is my favorite. There’s a great ambiance and Trevor our server was kind and suggested few items. It didn’t disappoint. I will definitely come back.

Service was great! As well as the food. Best octopus I’ve ever had. Wish the paella had more of a crispy bottom but overall great experience

11/10. Loved loved loved everything we ordered. Our server suggested the Shrimp Ajillo to fill our wait time between appetizer and main, and it was so unbelievably good. Would come back specifically for that dish. If you visit, DO NOT PASS IT UP!!

The uni & crab pasta and ajillo shrimp were two of our best bites on the trip. And always a delight to have some good pan con tomato with real jamon iberico. Smoked salmon tapa we could have done without, for the price (16 for what is pictured). Ube basque cheesecake was a nice surprise.
